Alexander Raskatov (Russian: Александр Михайлович Раскатов; born 1953) is a Russian composer. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1978. In 1998 he joined the Association for Contemporary Music in Russia. He has received commissions for new works from Gidon Kremer - for example the work based by Tchaikovsky's Four seasons for Kremer's album "The Russian Seasons", which consists of two contemporary "Russian" Four seasons works.
