Nelepa Brena (In Bulgarian: Нелепа Брена) is a hardcore band with crust and powerviolence influences from Sofia, Bulgaria. They draw inspiration from turbocore pioneers such as Sinan Sakic, Mile Kitic and Milko Kalaydzhiev. Their name derives from the name of the cultest figure in balkan turbofolk - Lepa Brena (the Beautiful Brena). Adding the preposition Ne- to her name, the meaning ironically changes to "The Ridiculous Brena".
