Self-described by the artist as "plundernoise," ⌬ (pronounced and occasionally typeset as "Benzene") is a noise project of Nick Shutter made entirely from samples of pre-existing work. Most of these samples are taken from various metal, punk, noise, electronic, and industrial acts and then distorted to the point where the source material becomes unrecognizable.
