つばさ (Tsubasa) was born in Kanazawa, Japan. At age 11, she won a guitar from her father. In the high school, she formed a band. Later, she left the band and began developing her own style. All define the way her sings as bossa nova, but she has a much larger range of influence. As they Astrud Gilberto, Tom Jobim, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald, nokko and BEGIN, but since when was a child, Tsubasa have contact with arts: music, singing, painting and handcrafts.
