Teruru was formed in Tokyo, Japan in 2000. They played energetic gigs mostly in Shibuya, Shimokitazawa and Shinjuku. The band established their own record label, "TERURU Record", in 2003, but were signed to BMG Japan in 2006. In January 2010 Teruru were disbanded. The same day members started a new band, Dichten.
