ザ・モップス (The Mops) were a Japanese psychedelic rock / garage rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The story began in Japan in 1966 when five high school-boys started the group influenced by The Ventures. They were Mikiharu Suzuki (drums), Tarou Miyuki (guitar), Hiromitu Suzuki (vocals), Kaoru Murakami (bass) and Masaru Hoshi (lead guitar, vocals).
