Yuko Mikasa (三笠優子、born Yaeko Yamato on 10 March 1949) is an enka singer from Japan. Mikasa studied naniwabushi while in middle school, but decided to embark on a career in music instead, and released her début single, "Dokaiwan no Ryu" (「洞海湾の竜」), on RVC Records. She is famous for her meoto (husband and wife) series of songs, which include the hits "Meotobune" (「夫婦舟」） and "Meotogawa" (「夫婦川」). Mikasa is currently signed to King Records. Read more on Last.fm.
