Hitomi Shimizu (冷水ひとみ) is a Japanese composer of music for television, anime and video games. Her music from the 2001 comedy film Water Boys won best score at the Japan Academy Awards. She also scored the short film Mt. Head (Atama Yama), which won the top prize at the 27th International Animated Film Festival in Annecy, France. She is the composer of the survival horror games Forbidden Siren (with Gary Ashiya) and Siren: Blood Curse. She also collaborates with violinist Hiromi Nishida on the music of the group Syzygys.
