手术台 (Chinese for "Operating Table") are a death metal act from Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, formed in 1997 and previously known as "The Base". In 2002 they released their first demo-tape, which gave them a deal with Mort Productions and, in the following year, a three-way split with Demisor & Regicide was released. In 2005, the band released 手术台作品全集 ("Compilation of Operating Table Works") which compiled tracks off the said split and some instrumental songs.
