He has since composed many pieces and albums, ranging from synthesizers to contemporary classical. He is also very well known for doing the soundtrack to the 1985 film Angel's Egg, a highly abstract film by Mamoru Oshii, who was behind Ghost In The Shell, Patlabor films, and is credited to creating the first OVA, a sci-fi title called Dallos.
