CHARLES are a Japanese visual kei band. Their music is reminiscent of LAREINE. The band was formed by MAYA, URALA, LUI and KALEN in 1998. CHARLES remained in the indies scene throughout their activity, releasing a couple of rare demo-tapes and participating on a V.A. CD. In 1999, KALEN left the band, the three remaining members decided to carry on, but disbanded in 2000. The vocalist MAYA then formed other bands such as: Belles, SOUND of DRUG, etc...
