The band was named Showdown and performed in Southern California from 1972 to 1977. The band consisted of Gary Hagerman on guitar and vocals, Joe Bianchi on Keyboards, Randy Lanier on bass, guitars, mandolin, and vocals, Duane Thomas on drums and backing vocals, and Bob Lautz on harmonica, backing vocals and chief engineer.
