So, the front man of Evil Macaroni and Sammy's Fatal Mistake, Jordy, has gone solo. A Great Notion is his way of writing and playing, having fun and playing fast. Cliched acoustic punk maybe but coming from the roots of the DIY punk scene of Peterborough UK the music refects this. Acoustic yes, punk deffinately. With the EP now released on Road Sweet Road Records and a split EP with Andrew Cream planned for the summer of 2011, the signs are looking good for A Great Notion. Still singing, still drinking.
