Absence of Light was formed in Buffalo, New York in early 2010 by guitarists Devon Kelly and Nick Iacuzzo. Soon after, drummer, Nick Dejoy, joined the band. After a long, hard search for a bassist, Steve Whyte was found and agreed to join, making Absence of Light the band that it is today.
