There are two music acts with the name Academia: 1- Academia is a German Eurodance project. It was produced by Michel Rehatta and Patrick Bakker. Academia featured Cedric and Lisa May. In 1995, Academia released the single "Dance To The Music". 2- Académia was as most active during the early 1990's revival of progressive rock in Sweden. Académia was formed in the late 1980's by guitarist Bert Andersson and keyboardist Staffan Lückander.
