Afraid of Stairs is a shoegaze band from Gothenburg, Sweden consisting of Pontus Wallgren & Max Sjöholm. The band was conceived by Pontus Wallgren in March 2003, and some time later the band's first song, Not Today, was recorded. They were immediately signed to Labrador that put the demo version of the song on their site.
