Ah,Moskva! is a collaboration of collective memory and wide space. Based in New York City and Portland, OR, the project is created through e-mails and phone calls. The mystery of isolated time opens recordings to space. Their two albums, Suburban Utopia and yellowblue, were written while L'aura Oriol and Thom Murphy moved between New York, Moscow, Dhaka, and Grenoble, never in the same city together.
