Akif Sadigov who is born in Tovuz province of Azerbaijan in 1951, has been graduated from Polytechnic University as a civil engineer besides his musical education about «tar» at music school. He worked as a tar teacher at school after graduation. A.Sadigov moved to Turkey with his family in 1995 and started working as a teacher in I.T.U. Traditional Turkish Music State Conservatory.
