Al-Thawra is a hardcore/crust/anarcho punk band from Chicago, Illinois. Sometimes described as "taqwacore," the band themselves defines their vision as this: The goal of this project is to create a fusion/hybrid music of Arabic music, Classic Punk, Anarchopunk (Crust, Grind, etc.), and Metal; which can best be described as something along the lines of RAICORE.
