Al Church & State is an up and coming Minnesotan band from the Twin Cities. The band includes Gambit Meeks, Brian Nanoff, Matthew Sandstedt, and Al Church. As one listens to their debut album Secret One, it is apparent that they're pretty influenced by Weezer. That isn't to say the album is limited to a Weezer sound. Al Church & State has a diverse range of sounds going; from Accidental Phone Call Weezer power-pop to Stick Up Spoon post-punk.
