Alamein is the name of an electronica project by Simon J. Hunter. The sound is described as a trip-hop - akin to Massive Attack - with focus on polished dark ambient moody songs with orchestral quality. Although electronic, the sound is definitely analogue, with "off-pitch" pianoes, beautiful sweeping guitars and raw bass-lines painting the perfect picture of a gloomy, grey, rainy day.
