Alas Earwax! is a wizard rock band from the Seattle-ish area formed in April 2007 when one musically-inclined individual randomly decided to summarize all six then-published Harry Potter books in a one-minute rap. He was later invited to open a show for the Parselmouths, wrote a few extra songs to fill time, and it all spiraled out of control from there.
