Aleka's Attic were a band formed in 1987-88 by the actor River Phoenix. The band's line up changed over the years- the original members were River Phoenix (vocals/guitar) Rain Phoenix (vocals) Josh Mckay (bass), Josh Greenbaum (drums) and Tim Hankins (viola). The band were offered a two year development deal with Island records in 1988.
