A power trio making contemporary jazz at its best. If you are a fan of Michael Manring you can´t go wrong with this CD. Even though Michael does not apply his awesome tapping technique in this record, it is very impressive to aprecciate his talent as a “regular” jazz player. Alex de Grassi ,at times, creates an eastern mood very much relaxing to hear, and his skills on acoustic guitar are certainly match to Michael`s .
