Alex Slobodyanik is recognised by critics, audiences and his fellow musicians worldwide as a major figure among the new generation of pianists. He began piano lessons at the age of six with his mother, Natalia, and at seven entered the Central Music School in Moscow, where he studied with Rene Shereshevskaya.
