Born in 1945, the composer and conductor Alexandre Rabinovitch-Barakovsky left the USSR in 1974 and now lives in Switzerland. "Rabinovitch's creative thinking is turned towards the culture of past centuries which he views as a whole - from the ancient esoteric theories to the art of the 19th century (...)."
