Jazz accordionist Alice Hall was infamous in the 50's for her technique, improvisational skills and scatting while playing the accordion. She use to play peices backwards just to amuse her audience. "Nobody can teach you how to play that kind of music you just have to feel it" says Louis Armstrong in her praise. She was too busy gigging to actually record much of her stuff.
