Alien In The Land Of Our Birth was a metalcore band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 1989 at Belmont College. In 1990, they won the Nashville Music Award's "Best Metal Act". There original line-up consisted of vocalist Scott Upshaw Carter, guitarist Billy Loffler III, bassist Leo Grandados, and drummer Brad Elrod.
