Pianist, composer, arranger and teacher, Amilson Godoy was born on May 17th 1946 in Bauru, Brazil. In his youth, as a classical pianist, Amilson won several competitions and performed with different Symphonic Orchestras in Brazil. In late 60's, as a Brazilian Popular Music piano player he was part of Bossa Jazz Trio and in the 80's part of Grupo Medusa.
