Amir Nasr was born in Tehran in 1980. After graduating from Soureh Music School he attended Soureh Music College for a year and then departed for Moscow in 2000 in order to study music; where he studied conducting jazz orchestra, with guitar as his main instrument, for three and a half years. Afterwards he left for Germany in order to further his education and studied Jazz guitar.
