An Oceanfront Architect is an American post-rock band based in Perry Hall / Baltimore, MD; Consisting currently of Chris Ford, Alex Sweeley, and occassionally Shawn McDaniel on drums. The band often uses reverb and distortion over clean rhythm guitars or vice-versa. Conceived in 2009, they recorded their debut EP, receiving minimal exposure but also much acclaim.
