Band History compiled by Sean and Jane Anarka and Poppy formed in 1982 in Preston, Lancashire, emerging from the local squat scene in Preston. Anarka and Poppy were brought together after Nihilist Insurrection, a previous local band Sean and Jane were in, had split.
