Andrew Nieporent & the Nonspecifics are a band from Bergen County, New Jersey, featuring singer-songwriter Andrew Nieporent (acoustic rhythm guitar, vocals), Adam Biener (Sherazada) (electric lead guitar), Jay Everett (The Jay Everett Band) (bass, harmony vocals), and Tom Ng (drums, percussion). The band formed in the fall of 2007 when Adam, Jay, and Tom began playing along with Andrew at regular open mic nights.
