Angelo Ragazzi (* 1680 in Naples , † October 12 1750 in Vienna ) was an Italian composer and violinist . Ragazzi was trained in Naples at the Conservatorio Santa Maria di Loreto at Giovanni Carlo Cailò . From 1704 he was a violinist in the Royal Chapel of Naples. In 1707 he was also a violinist in the chapel of Archduke Karl von Habsburg in Barcelona. After his coronation as emperor in 1713 he was a member of the court orchestra in Vienna .
