The French pianist, Anne (Tita) Queffélec, was the daughter of Henri and sister of Yann Queffélec, both noted writers. She received her initial training at the Paris Conservatoire with Lélia Gousseau (premier prix in piano, 1965) and Jan Hubeau (premier prix in chamber music performance, 1966).
