Tenor, Webster Booth (1902-1984) was born in Birmingham. Soprano, Anne Ziegler (1910-2003) was born in Liverpool. They met at the end of 1934 when they were filming "The Faust Fantasy". Webster Booth was married to his second wife, Paddy Prior. After his divorce in 1938, Anne and Webster married on 5 November 1938 and, shortly afterwards, began singing duets together.
