Arboretus is the solo project of Hampshire, United Kingdom based multi-instrumentalist Alex Fawcett, also known as the guitarist/vocalist of Oceanus. The sound draws mainly on guitar-based ambience, shoegaze, drone and post-rock amoungst many other influences. Arboretus in its current form was conceived by Alex in the lonely Autumn of 2009.
