Are Kalvø is one of Norway's most popular comedians, known mostly for his books and his work for the radio show "Hallo i uken". He has also written a bunch of satire/humor books like "Bibelen 2" ("The Bible 2"), "Kunsten Å Vere Neger" ("How To Be A Negro"), "Våre Venner Kinesarane" ("Our Friends The Chinese") and "Syden" ("The South").
