Hailing from down east North Carolina, Aren Blake has been making music for the soul. He started playing guitar as a child with his family in Unknown Tongues, a native zydeco band, learning from some of the best musicians in NC. Mixing influences from classic rock and progressive folk to Avant-garde, Bluegrass and Ragtime. He has created influential progressive folk directed to an emerging young socially conscious audience.
