Automatic Baby is the label given to the one time collaboration of U2 an R.E.M., more precisely Larry Mullen Jr. and Adam Clayton of the former and Mike Mills and Michael Stipe of the latter. The name of their collaboration was derived from the then-current albums of the two groups: Achtung Baby and Automatic For The People.
