Pop-punk band from Wollongong, NSW, AUS. Avaine was formed when guitarists Josh and Justin decided to pursue a project with a more pop-rock feel to it. By February 2011 the whole band were rehearsing, and have since gained a devoted local following. Between local headlining shows and band competitions, Avaine supported Tonight Alive when they visited Wollongong in July, and in August, took 3rd place in the Wollongong finals of the AACA band competition.
