Avondale was a Kansas City, Missouri post rock band that recorded the album "Enormous Black Power Gift" in 1999. Avondale was formed in 1998 in Kansas City, from the scene shared by Season To Risk, Shiner, Gunfighter, and a host of other bands that comprised the "Kansas City" sound. The original lineup consisted of Joe Fortunato, Gregg Todt, Matt Palubicki, and Brian Brooks.
