Azur:Musée formed in 2001. The group released a handful of demos throughout the year, but ultimately failed to reach an audience. Throughout 2002, Azur:Musée released two singles: one was self-titled, while the other was titled "Hanabira no Kioku (花びらの記憶)". The group also appeared on the "Hysteric Media Zone 3" omnibus that June as well. However, due to them not finding a core audience, Azur:Musée decided to disband in 2003.
