Bandasonora started at 2004 as an experimental project, developed by band formers Ricardo Montiel and Daniel Gonzalez at Maracaibo, Venezuela. After several attempts to get their ideas together, Ricardo and Daniel (with Andreina Mendez in backing vocals getting into band sometime later) finally succeeded as "Bandasonora" , a band with "melodic but irreverent music".
