Cristian Petcu was born on 9 April 1993 in Bucharest, Romania. He lives with his parents also in Bucharest, Drumul Taberei District. He started to produce music under the stage name "BassType" in 2008 with a computer program. In 2009, he released the hit song " I wanna be with you ".
