Bastian Wegner's lyrics & chords

On "Elmsfeuer" (Sähkö Recordings, 2010), Bastian Wegner has perfectly conjured up a selection of tracks, that while reminiscent of Twin Peaks, don't totally ape Angelo Badalamenti's very particular style. Through subtle electronic processes and delicate jazz touches the mood is set and Wegner gives us music perfect for the doomed winter months.
