The Beach Bullies consisted of James A. Smith (often credited as the Great One) and sometimes singer Jilly Fricke and a drum machine called Dr. Sticky. The sound was very D.I.Y with only vocals and drum machine and occasionally a guitar. The band was from the UK and James had met Jilly at Cambridge.
