Betty was born in August 23rd of 1952 in Tehran. She studied Literature at "Attar High School" in Tehran where she received her diploma when she was 17 years old. Later when she found her passion for music she recorded her first song "Azizam" as her debut Hit single. This song topped the charts in Iran when she had just turned 19. A few months later Betty got married to Saeed Dabiri and a year after their son Haydn got born. In 1984 she left Iran and toured in Israel for concerts.
