Circa 2005 Jessie Kincaid and Lucas Ruble played in what was then known as "As Is" with Matt Brenier on drums. During this period, Eddie McNally and Tim Filer were in the band Overbearing Conceit with Tim doing vocals and Eddie playing guitar, featuring drummer Abel Garcia and Bassist Steve Youmen.
