Blanca Uribe was born in Bogota, Colombia into a family of many generations of professional musicians. She studied in Vienna at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Art with Richard Hauser and in New York at The Juilliard School with Rosina Lhevinne and Martin Canin. Her extensive repertoire ranges from Scarlatti to works of the present.
